The Hype Society – “$10,000 Marketing Package Giveaway” Competition Rules

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is The Hype Society Pty Ltd 77 652 173 610, located at Lvl3, 350 Collins Street Melbourne 3000 (“Promoter”).

2. Eligibility

2.1. Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over.

2.2. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Promoter, its agencies, or partners directly involved in the competition are not eligible to enter.

2.3. By entering the competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

3. Competition Period

3.1. The competition opens at 9:00am AEST on 13/08/2025 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 11/09/2025 (“Competition Period”).

3.2. Entries received after the close date will not be accepted.

4. How to Enter

4.1. To enter, participants must, during the Competition Period:

• Complete the official competition entry form via https://conversations.casey.vic.gov.au/business-insights-survey

   

• Provide all mandatory details, including name, email address, phone number, and any other required information.

   

4.2. Only one (1) entry per person will be accepted.

4.3. Entries must be submitted via the official business insights page. Incomplete or invalid entries will be deemed void.

5. Game of Chance

5.1. This is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in determining the winners.

5.2. Each eligible entry will be assigned a unique submission ID.

5.3. Winners will be determined by a random number generator that selects submission IDs at random. The first drawn valid entry will win the Major Prize, and subsequent valid entries will win the Minor Prizes.

6. Prizes

6.1. Major Prize:

• One (1) x $10,000 Marketing Package from The Hype Society, which may include agency services such as digital marketing strategy, social media management, paid advertising management, content creation, graphic design, and/or other marketing services agreed between the winner and the Promoter. The package must be utilised within 12 months of the winner being announced.

   

• The package is not transferable for cash or credit and may not be resold.

   

6.2. Minor Prizes:

• Thirty (30) x $70 Bunjil Place Gift Vouchers.

   

• Vouchers are subject to the terms and conditions of the issuer and expiry dates as specified on the voucher.

   

6.3. The total prize pool is valued at $12,100 (AUD, including GST).

7. Prize Conditions

7.1. The Major Prize is to be redeemed directly with The Hype Society. The scope of services will be agreed upon in writing with the winner.

7.2. The Major Prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods and services.

7.3. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or expired vouchers.

7.4. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter.

8. Draw and Winner Notification

8.1. The draw will take place at TheHypeSociety on 17/09/2025 at 12:00pm AEST.

8.2. The draw will be conducted using a certified random number generator, selecting the winning submission ID(s).

8.3. Winners will be notified by email and/or phone within 3 business days of the draw.

8.4. The winners’ names will be published on TheHypeSociety’s website and social media channels within 7 business days of the draw.

9. Unclaimed Prizes

9.1. If a prize remains unclaimed for more than 3 months from the date of the draw, the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw using the same method as the original draw.

9.2. The unclaimed prize draw will occur and new winners will be notified as per clause 8.3.

10. Privacy

10.1. By entering, participants consent to their personal information being collected, stored, and used by the Promoter for the purposes of conducting this competition and for marketing communications (unless opted out).

10.2. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.thehypesociety.us/privacy-policy/ 

11. General Conditions

11.1. The Promoter’s decisions are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

11.2. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entries and may disqualify entries that are incomplete, illegible, or otherwise do not comply with these Terms & Conditions.

11.3. If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the competition.

11.4. The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications that may arise from prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.

11.5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of accepting or using any prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Authorisation

12.1. This competition is conducted under a trade promotion permit exemption in Victoria for a game of chance with a total prize value under $50,000.
